Details
Lynx supports the creation and distribution of both physical and virtual cards that can be issued to your members and their designated users. During client onboarding, you can designate the type of card (virtual, physical, or both) that your population will receive.
Card Identifier
To help prevent PCI exposure and increase account security, Lynx uses a unique Card Identifier for each member in place of the sixteen-digit card number. The Card Identifier is created when a card is created and can be retrieved from the card details API. When making card management calls using the Lynx API, you will need to use the Card Identifier to designate which member card is being used, as members may have more than one card associated with them.
Card Branding
As part of the Lynx platform, you will have the ability to create a uniquely designed card and card mailer that aligns with your desired go-to market branding. As part of the onboarding process, your Client Success Manager will work with you to create a card and card mailer that aligns with network and issuing bank requirements. Lynx uses the unique Card Identifier that is associated with each unique card and card mailer design to ensure that your members will receive the appropriate card design.
